This Analyst will work on projects that drive and support the growth of TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Role: Financial Analyst Responsibilities: • Provide strategy and recommendations on varied initiatives across all levels of management • Prepare complex financial models and reports, including Pro-forma Statements, Discounted Cash Flow Models, P&L • Partner with operational experts and build relationships within the business Potential Projects: • Marketing Campaigns – partner with Marketing to evaluate advertising and media campaigns • Merchandising Initiatives – evaluate inventory management/merchandising initiatives • Capital Investment Decision Process – evaluate projects to determine if they meet ROI criteria, as well as support the long term growth of the business • Real Estate – provide store pro-forma analysis and other property evaluations for the company • Store Performance – analyze operational efficiencies and expense controls to ensure profit is maximized in each location • Presentation preparation and KPI performance reporting Ideal candidate will have: • 1-3 years of financial analysis experience; Consulting, Investment Banking, or MBA a plus • Bachelors degree in Finance or Economics preferred • Familiarity with concepts such as cash flow, NPV, ROI, IRR and flexible financial modeling • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills • Demonstrated aptitude with Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • High level of attention to detail • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple engagements and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
